Pump prices are revised periodically and are low relative to Europe and Asia, which shifts the economics: the dominant factor in your running cost is vehicle size and driving style, not the rate per litre.

Is 91 or 95 octane better for fuel economy?
Neither, unless your engine requires the higher grade. Octane rating describes resistance to knock, not energy content. Running 95 in an engine designed for 91 costs more per litre and returns the same kilometres.
How do I convert km/L to L/100km?
Divide 100 by your km/L figure. Twelve kilometres per litre is 100 divided by 12, which is about 8.3 L/100km. The calculator shows both values from the same input.
Why does city driving in Riyadh use so much more fuel?
Stop-start traffic burns fuel during idling and acceleration without covering much distance, and heavy air-conditioning load in the heat adds to it. Long highway runs at a steady speed produce far better figures from the same vehicle.
